The Ballinran name has its roots in Ireland, a land where legends and yarns have been passed down through the generations – a society where the art of storytelling has always been highly-prized.  Fitting, because creating and sharing stories is what we do best.

We have recently produced the internationally acclaimed, and four-time Gemini nominated, docudrama, Death or Canada, and are currently working on Hangman’s Graveyard and another documentary on the life of Des McAnuff, the renowned theater director and current Artistic Director of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. Ballinran is also producing the upcoming documentary festival DocFest Stratford.
