HANGMAN’s GRAVEYARD follows Canada’s leading archaeologist, Dr. Ron Williamson, and his team from Archaeological Services Inc. and University of Toronto as they unlock the secrets of a forgotten cemetery located under the foreboding shadow of Toronto’s notorious Don Jail. The burials are thought to be the remains of executed inmates.
Who were these men?
What where their crimes?
Ballinran Productions has extensively followed the investigation, beginning in September 2007, as Ron and his team have unraveled the mysteries of these lost inmates and brothers in crime.
Filming took place from 2007 through 2009. Locations included the Old Don Jail itself, the Toronto Reference Library, University of Toronto and several other locations around Toronto and in Stratford at the Perth County Court House and Factory 163.
